Digital Millennium Copyright Act Policy
Welcome to our website. We value the rights of intellectual property and expect the same from others. According to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), copyright owners can request the removal of infringing content by submitting a takedown notice to our designated DMCA Agent. As an internet service provider, we are protected by the “safe harbor” provisions of the DMCA.
Notice of Infringement – Claim
- A signature of the copyright owner or their authorized representative.
- Identification of the copyrighted work that has been infringed.
- Details of the infringing material and its location to enable us to locate it.
- Contact information of the complaining party.
- A statement confirming the unauthorized use of the material.
- An acknowledgment that the information provided is accurate.
Section 512(f) of Title 17 USC outlines penalties for misrepresenting information in a copyright infringement notification. Takedown notices should be sent through our Contact page via email for quick processing.
It’s important to note that we may disclose the identity of the claimant to the alleged infringer when processing a copyright infringement claim.
Counter Notification – Restoration of Material
If you receive a takedown notice for alleged copyright infringement, you can submit a counter notification with specific elements required by Section 512(g)(3) of Title 17 USC to have the material restored.
- Your signature.
- Description of the removed material and its original location.
- A statement affirming that the removal was due to mistake or misidentification.
- Your contact information and consent to jurisdiction.
Submit your counter notification via our Contact page, preferably through email.
Repeat Infringer Policy
We have a strict policy towards repeat copyright infringers as mandated by the DMCA. We maintain records of DMCA notices and take action against repeat offenders by terminating their accounts.
Modifications
We reserve the right to update our DMCA policy as necessary. Please check back regularly for any revisions to this policy.
